Windows 98/98SE boot disk to enable any ide CD-type drive in DOS mode. After downloading this file, extract it by double-clicking. It's a self extractor and files will be written to a floppy disk. Just make sure you have a blank formatted 1.44 mb. floppy in your drive. Use this disk to boot machine with. It will automatically enable any cd-type ide drives attached to system. Will not work with scsi drives.... only ide drives. Note This disk will state "starting Windows 98" when used to boot pc. However, it doesn't open into Windows. It only boots to a command prompt and will enable any ide drive when finished. Do not use this if you have Windows installed and running. Only use it on a pc with a freshly formatted hard drive with NO os installed.
