This is the Windows 98 Boot Disk. This utility has the generic Atapi/IDE drivers that support most IDE CDroms and some scsi drives. Unzip these files to a blank 31/2 in. floppy disk, and then reboot your system with disk inserted. You can choose to start with CDrom support which will enable access to your CDrom drive. NOTE Does not work with proprietary Sony, Panasonic, or Matsu****a drives. This is a great file to be able to download if you have lost your CDrom drive in Windows 95/98 or if you do not have a 95/98 CDrom disk handy to make a start-up disk with.
