This driver will need to be installed manually in dos mode or at the dos prompt. The instructions are as follows 1. Connect the drive (goes without saying) 2. Copy the File cpqidecd.sys and the file mscdex.exe from the self extracting zip file on to the main directory C \ (if c \ is the boot drive) 3. Edit the file c \config.sys and add the line Device=C \cpqidecd.sys /D idecd001 4. Edit the file c \autoexec.bat and add the line C \mscdex.exe /D idecd001 This is a great tool if your computer does not detect your cd-rom drive in the BIOS. I found that it is hard to find basic drivers like this for the most common things that newer computers do automaticaly. I hope it's of use to you, Good Luck
