I had a chat with an online representative for Philips who was very helpful and let me know that the default driver which Windows 98/Me gives the drive will work just fine. Just let windows find the driver it wants for the drive or use the one I uploaded (which is what my Windows ME operating system is using.) So, if the CD that came with your CD-RW drive doesn't work, don't sweat it. Windows will get you all set up.
