This driver is really a Generic device driver for ATAPI CD-ROM drives. But I've used it successfully on many systems and DOS/WIN OS. As with any system file, you must make sure you save the file in the correct directory, so your system can find it when it starts. On my P2-300 (Win98), this driver is stored on my "C" hard drive C \WINDOWS\COMMAND\EBD
