This is actually an update to Easy CD Creator v3.5C and Direct CD v2.5D which makes the programs see the Philips CD R/RW drive. Other updates for the Adaptec software are available at the Roxio site www.roxio.com/en/support/roxio_support/ecdc/ecdc_software_updatesv3.jhtml. Note that Roxio took over Adaptec - thank goodness. ps... the firmware updates for this oem pos cdrw don't help a squit.
