I do believe this driver is for any OS that has the original USB support, do not know about 2.1 ver.

For those that are unfamiliar with downloading/extracting a zip file

Just download driver like any other file to a directory(C \Temp recommended) unzip or extract file using WinZip, to file on floppy, cd or whatever, CD being the recommended archival method if you want it to last). When new hardware found (ex. win98,Me, 2000), after inserting USB connector, pop in floppy or have it "Search for files", etc.

When it find the correct file, the device wil install using the correct file.
