READ ME FIRST MUST BE DONE UNDER DOS....NOT in WINDOWS---- DATE 09/04/98...126k....version R2.40 This is a FIRMWARE version upgrade that will FLASH the BIOS! It is for the AOpen/ACER CRW622, mine was originally 2.0 or 2.2 version and I used this to upgrade the version to 2.4d. If you want to use Adaptec Direct CD V2.0a or later, you need to use this version upgrade FIRST if your Acer/AOpen CDW622 is firmware version 2.03/2.20/2.40 or your CDW622 will not support the new Direct CD V2.0a and later versions function.
