This the latest release 253a of the JVC firmware with the Smart and Friendly firmware loader. The Hival H2242 is really a JVC 2080. JVC's loader will not load the Hival drive because it contains an identity lock. For more info www.junkroom.freeserve.co.uk/jvc2080.htm
