This is a firmware update for the Hi-Val CD-RW Drive 2x2x6. The Hi-Val model #CRW4261E is but the drive is actually made by Phillips-model #CDD3610. This will upgrade the firmware to ver.3.10. Win 9x and NT don't need drivers for an IDE controlled device. So don't bother looking for them. There are NO existing DOS drivers, besides CD-RW under DOS is useless anyway. This update just fixes some simple bugs. Go to www.hival.com for further reading or info.
