This was obtained directly from the adaptec site (www.adaptec.com) Did a search for ASPI. Although adaptec states that this will not work with windows 2000 Prof, it worked great for me. No need to install and Yamaha specific drivers. Once this was installed, the Yamaha firmware update program was able to find the drive fine. I tested the drive using a trial version of GEAR (note that DirectCD and Easy CD creator don't seem to like 2000 -- nice "blue screens of death"). Note that the ASPI exe is directly from adaptec and has not been modified in any way. Enjoy!
