This is the driver for alps 4x4 cd-rom device. Just copy file to c \ and add following line to config.sys DEVICE=c \SSCDROM.SYS /D MSCD00D /V Then copy c \windows\command\mscdex.exe to c \cddrv.exe and add following lines to autoexec.bat c \cddrv /D MSCD00D lastdrive=e Then boot computer with no "cd-tray" intered, and i hope it works.. Remember to eject "cd-tray" before start windows (every time!)!!
