I had trouble using my sony cdrw, it kept telling me that there was no disk, or no recording devices. Sony offers this drive check software, and was able to read, and write to my disk. Ergo, helping to determine the problem was in my software, not my driver, or cdrw. A good tool. Hard to find, so make sure you use the url, not just search.
