Boot Disk to run a Sony PCGA-CD51 (PCMCIA) PC Card CD-ROM drive in DOS on most IBM laptops. It has the IBM Card Service drivers and the Sony Card and CD drivers.
Make a simple Win98 Boot Disk with only COMMAND.COM and the hidden files IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS.
Copy these files to the Boot Disk floppy and overwrite MSDOS.SYS on the disk.
You can modify these files and drivers to work with other makes of Laptops by changing the IBM Card Sevice files. See your mfg. for details.
